These terms apply to your use of Owly Post. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
Owly Post is operated by Devmore, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 88332217, Stationsplein 26, 6512 AB Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Where these terms say “we” or “Owly Post”, they mean Devmore. You can reach us at mail@owlypost.com.
2. The service
Owly Post follows news sources on your behalf, learns which topics matter to you, and delivers a summarized digest. Summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. Always check the original source before acting on anything you read here.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. Let us know promptly if you suspect someone else has access to your account.
4. Acceptable use
When using Owly Post, you agree not to:
- resell, redistribute, or systematically scrape the digests we send you;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
- use the service in a way that breaks applicable law.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans renew automatically for the period you selected until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason. Owly Post is a digital service that starts as soon as you subscribe: by asking for immediate access at checkout you agree that we start the service right away and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. You confirm this when placing the order.
Beyond that, payments already made are non-refundable unless the law says otherwise.
6. Content and intellectual property
Articles referenced in your digest remain the property of their original publishers. The Owly Post name, interface, and the software behind the service remain ours.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Owly Post available and accurate, but we provide it “as is”. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made on the basis of a summary.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute will be brought before the District Court of Gelderland (Rechtbank Gelderland), the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live continue to apply, and you may also bring a claim before the courts of that country.
